Our Family
Kerem, Buse and Josiah Koç from Antalya, Turkey. Our life's direction took at sharp turn when God made himself clear to me at age 18 and my wife at age 22. As we began to follow the path God laid out for us it took us from Antalya, to Canada (during which time our son, Josiah, was born), and then back again. Upon returning to Antalya, God made it clear that he was calling me to plant a church. Through His abundant provision and guidance, we were able to rent an office space in heart of Antalya, and our first service was held on February 7th 2010.
The Antalya Protestan Kilisesi (Antalya Protestant Church) is one of only two evangelical Turkish churches in a city of 1 million, and a province of 2 million people. God's grace has been evident as we have baptized many new believers and have been privileged to disciple them in their walk with Christ. In a nation where Christians are the vast minority (less than 0.1%), the work is often difficult and lonely, but God is ever faithful. He is breaking down age-old barriers, and building His church in this spiritually barren land, by the power of His Gospel. We praise Him for the privilege of being witnesses for Him in this land. May His name be praised!
